Non Fiction Texts

Year 2 have begun our new Literacy unit on non-fiction texts. We spent a lesson identifying the key elements we would find in a non-fiction book. We then looked at a variety of books in our library to see if we could find these key features. We were looking out for the contents page, index, glossary, photographs and captions.
